Ombre Lips in Dubai
Discover ombre lips — the gradient lip technique that creates a natural fade from soft inner lip to defined outer lip border. Perfect for a modern, dimensional look.
Colour With Depth
What Are Ombre Lips?
Ombre lips in Dubai is a semi-permanent lip tattoo with a gradient. The colour is deepest along the edges, so the outline looks defined, and it fades towards the centre of the lips, where it stays lighter and softer. The contrast makes lips look fuller and more shaped without filler.
Healed, ombre lips look like a lip liner blended into a lighter lipstick — visible colour, but not flat. It is a step up in intensity from lip blush, which is a single sheer wash of colour, and a softer, fuller alternative to a permanent lip liner on its own.
We mix the shade to your natural lip colour and skin undertone: rosy and nude tones for an everyday look, deeper berry or coral for clients who like visible colour. If your lips are dark or uneven, the colour plan may start with dark lip neutralization.
The gradient is built in layers with a PMU machine and a fine needle. Every layer is lighter than you might expect, because lips always look brighter fresh than healed, and an even healed colour comes from several soft passes, not from one heavy one.

Your Appointment
Ombre Lips Procedure Step by Step
The appointment is booked as a 1.5-hour slot. The outline and the shade take as much time as they need.
We check your lips for cold sores, old tattoo and dark areas, and agree how visible the colour should be.
The outline is drawn with a lip pencil, correcting asymmetry where possible, and you approve it in the mirror.
Two tones are planned — a deeper edge and a lighter centre — mixed to your lips and skin undertone.
Numbing cream is applied and topped up during the work.
The border is built first, then the colour is blended inwards in lighter passes.
You leave with balm, written instructions and a top-up date 4–6 weeks later.
Before Your Visit
How to Prepare for Your Lip Appointment
A few days of preparation make the lips bleed less and hold more colour.
Moisturise your lips every day; dry, flaky lips take pigment unevenly.
If you have ever had a cold sore, ask your doctor about an antiviral course before the appointment.
Pause fish oil, vitamin E and other blood-thinning supplements (only if your doctor agrees).
No alcohol or coffee.
No lip filler; if you plan filler, do it first and come to us once it has settled.
Come without lipstick. If you have a favourite lip shade, bring it — it helps colour matching.

Ombre Lips in Action
Healing Day by Day
Ombre Lips Healing Timeline
Lips heal faster than brows but change colour more dramatically on the way. This is what is normal. The edge usually shows first; the lighter centre can take an extra week to reappear.
Lips look bold, bright and slightly swollen. Keep them clean and use the balm we give you; drink through a straw.
Lips feel dry and start to peel. Let the flakes come off on their own — picking pulls pigment out.
Peeling ends and the colour looks much paler, sometimes almost gone. This is the milky new skin layer, not lost pigment.
Colour returns from inside the lip and warms up.
The true healed colour is visible. This is when we judge evenness and plan the top-up.
Colour stays stable; sun, smoking and exfoliating lip products decide how fast it fades.
Durability
How Long Do Ombre Lips Last?
Ombre lips usually last 1 to 3 years. The deeper border tends to hold longer than the centre, so the lips keep their definition as the colour softens.
Lips renew quickly and are constantly exposed to food, drinks and sun, which is why most clients refresh the colour every 12–18 months. A balm with SPF and avoiding exfoliating lip scrubs are the two habits that matter most.
The top-up 4–6 weeks after the first session is where the gradient becomes even. Lips rarely hold pigment perfectly the first time, and the second pass is planned from the start.
Living in Dubai
Ombre Lips Under the Dubai Sun
Lips have no natural UV protection, and in Dubai the sun is strong all year. Without SPF a lip tattoo fades faster and can turn warmer; a lip balm with SPF in your bag is the cheapest way to make the colour last.
Air conditioning dries lips out, and dry lips both heal worse and lose colour sooner. Keep them moisturised during healing and afterwards.
Book ombre lips at least 2 weeks before a beach holiday: sea water, chlorine, sun and sauna are off-limits while the lips heal.
Maintain Your Lips
Ombre Lips Aftercare
The first 10 days decide most of the healed result.
Keep the lips moist with the aftercare balm for the first days; never let them crack.
Avoid kissing, hot drinks and spicy or salty food for the first 48 hours.
No peeling, biting or scrubbing; let the skin come off naturally.
No lipstick, gloss or other balms apart from the one we give you until the lips have healed.
No direct sun, swimming, sauna or steam for 2 weeks; then use a lip SPF outdoors.
Use a straw for the first days and rinse the lips gently with clean water after meals.

Contraindications: When We Postpone
Lips are a sensitive area. If any of these apply, tell us when you book.
Not during an outbreak — wait until it has fully healed (2+ weeks). If you get cold sores, take an antiviral course before the appointment as your doctor prescribes.
We postpone lip tattooing until after nursing.
Wait at least 4 weeks after filler so the shape settles.
Stop and wait 6 months before lip tattooing.
Not while there is an active flare.
Uncontrolled diabetes or clotting disorders need a doctor’s note first.

What Our Clients Say
Many of my friends told me that lip blush would be painful. But thanks to Brows & Lips, I can honestly say it's not painful at all! With the right artist, the procedure was very comfortable — I even fell asleep during it.
I had my brows and lips done by master Kylie — and it was the best decision! I hesitated for a long time, but it turned out to be absolutely painless and not scary at all. Kylie fully met my expectations — the result is clean, natural, and beautiful. If you're looking for a good salon in Dubai, you should definitely come here. You won't regret it!
I got a permanent lip tattoo (lip blush), and I'm really happy with the results. The procedure took about 2-3 hours with minimal discomfort thanks to numbing cream. Now that it's healed, my lips have a natural, tinted look — like I'm always wearing a light lip color. It saves me time, looks great, and enhances my natural lip shape. Thank you for professional master Akulai.
I recently got my lips blushed and I couldn't be happier with the results! The color is beautifully natural and has healed so evenly. The entire experience was smooth and comfortable — from the consultation to the aftercare instructions. I felt completely at ease throughout the process, and the attention to detail was amazing. If you're considering lip blushing, I genuinely recommend it — it's such a confidence booster and makes everyday makeup so much easier.
